Mornings at The Nest Resort begin the way they should: slowly, with good coffee and a table full of honest food. Our breakfast buffet draws on the best of the Cretan larder: local cheeses, cured meats, fresh produce, homemade bread and pastries, eggs prepared to order.
Come evening, the Pergola shifts into dinner mode. The menu rotates daily, built around Mediterranean and Cretan recipes using mostly locally sourced ingredients, dishes that are satisfying, unfussy, and full of flavour. À la carte is available alongside the buffet, so guests can eat exactly as they please.
Between meals, the Pool Bar keeps things refreshed: cold drinks, light bites, and long afternoons by the water.

FROM THE CRETAN TABLE
Our kitchen keeps things simple and honest. We cook with what Crete gives us, extra virgin olive oil, vegetables from local growers, fish from the waters you can see from the terrace. The menu changes with the season and the market, not the other way around. Breakfast at the Pergola is a generous spread of Cretan staples: local cheeses, cured meats, honey, fresh fruit, pastries and eggs prepared to order. In the evening, the Pergola serves dinner as both a buffet and à la carte – Mediterranean and International recipes that are rooted, not reinvented. For guests who prefer everything taken care of, our half-board option covers both meals.
The Pool Bar handles everything in between – cold drinks, light bites, and the kind of afternoon that doesn’t need a plan.
